Effective FY25 (July 1, 2024), SoE will embark on two new strategies intended to increase resources for SoE Principal Investigators and their appointing departments. See details on SoE's new Course Buy-out Rate Policy and Indirect Return Pilot Program below.
The SoE Business Office offers comprehensive research administration support for grants and contracts management, collaborating with faculty, staff, campus colleagues and sponsors for the life-cycle of a project.
Our aim is two-fold: to provide SoE PIs with exceptional administrative services allowing them to focus on the technical side of their research, and to to maintain SoE’s reputation as a responsible steward of sponsored funding by ensuring compliance and fiscal accuracy in post-award management.
Note that the SoE Business Office partners closely with Research Administration Services at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research who provide primary support to SoE faculty and researchers with WCER mission-aligned proposals and awards.
