Requesting Rooms in the School of Education
Requests for rooms in the School of Ed are managed online through the Event Management System (EMS). A SoE EMS user account is required to request rooms. Your user account will only allow you to make requests for rooms you are qualified to use. Not all rooms are available to all users.

General Facility Use Guidelines
All facility use at UW-Madison must comply with UW-System Policy 21.04 and UW-Madison Facility Use Policy.
Room reservations for credit instruction must be initiated by an academic department's curricular representative.
general assignment classrooms
General Assignment classroom reservations for non-credit meetings or events are managed by Campus Event Services at the Union. Please contact them for inquiries related to non-credit use of those classrooms.

Please note that many of the rooms are restricted to departmental, or SoE, use only. Not all rooms on the list will be available to all users. Click on the room name and read the notes displayed there to find out which department manages the room, and if it is available to others.

Fees for SoE Rooms
The School of Education charges room use fees for the following spaces:
- Education Building - SoE-Managed Meeting Rooms
- Lathrop Hall - Virginia Harrison Parlor and Margaret H'Doubler Theater
Rates for Ed Building meeting rooms and Lathrop Hall's Harrison Parlor are online here:
Fees for Lathrop Hall's H'Doubler Theater are available from the Dance Department.
Fees may be applied to events in other SoE rooms for specific services as needed.
