The Business Office in the School of Education strives to lead efficient and effective business operations that contribute to the success of the School of Education. We provide support, consultation, education, and oversight. The Office endeavors to facilitate positive working relationships within the School of Education, with the University, the State of Wisconsin, and external agencies and partners in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, Facilities and Gifts & Grants.

A few of the areas managed by the Office are highlighted below. Please see the menu to the left for further detail.

  • We provide advice on and approve purchases and reimbursements
  • We offer human resource services and consultation for classified and unclassified staff
  • We manage the school's payroll and provide benefits information
  • We develop and advise departments and units on annual budgets
  • We assist with and approve extramural funding processes
  • We serve as the liaison with campus for administrative systems and processes
  • We manage the School of Education facilities and parking inquiries
  • To reserve space in the School of Education, please use the Event Management System
  • To request a general assignment classroom in the Education Building for an event (these are primarily located on the L100 level), please contact Campus Event Services
  • Questions about courses scheduled in general assignment classrooms should be directed to Curricular Services; Ed McGlinn is the School of Education contact
